The Grand Tour: Jeremy Clarkson's first show since Top Gear premieres

The new TV series starring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May has launched, more than 18 months after the trio exited Top Gear.

The first episode of The Grand Tour was made available on the Amazon Prime streaming service on Friday morning.

This bit makes me smile:

Currently, only fans in the UK, America, Germany and Japan are able to watch the first episode, but the company has announced it will be launching the show globally in December.

I guess Amazon haven't quite figured out how online services work?

Watched it this morning before work! No spoilers, but it was everything I expected it to be!

The biggest surprise so far? No product placement from Amazon!

Haha yeah, watched it before work. It's exactly what you hope it'll be, trust me :D

I've seen a few of the headlines this morning so don't expect to be disappointed. Watching a few of their teaser videos that have been coming out and remembering why they were so good together.

If you guys get the chance check out the interview on the One Show.....awkward much

Yeah, that was a bit awkward. Quite a few jabs at the BBC...

Thoroughly enjoyed that. Laughed out loud a few times.

Seems a bit stripped down, but off to a good start.

Excited to see what they've got lined up for the rest of the series.

Just finished watching it.  Excellent intro, nice piece on the Porsche, Ferrari and McLaren, I like the new test track ...

that whole RAF vs. USAF was hilarious.

Anyway ... excellent first episode.

Wow. I don't know if it was seeing the trio again, the whole "we're different...but the same" idea or what, but that was amazing!

I was laughing out loud at the RAF bit, hilarious.

Highly recommended by me. Bring on more! (Y)

The digs at VW and the Star in a reasonably priced car were also quite good.

I see you went ahead without my permission! ;)

But yeah, totally worth it.

Watched it last night and it was great. As someone said about a little stripped down but I guess that's expected for the first episode where they introduce a bunch of new things. There were some great bits in there. Looking forward to Friday now.
