My PS3 controller won't turn on

Recommended Posts

Okay so I haven't turned my ps3 on in about 10-12 months and my ps3 controller won't connect to my playstation. Should I just leave them plugged into the Playstation for a little bit or what?

You should be able to plug your controller in to the PS3, then use the PS3's power button to turn it on and start charging the controller.

What do you mean by, "it isn't working?" The PS3 isn't turning on, or the controllers aren't flashing to show that they are charging?

The controllers arent flashing to show they are charging, it's like they're dead

But the PS3 is turned on, correct?

It could be that they need some time. I seem to remember not using my controllers for a long time, and having to leave them plugged in for a while before they started saying that they were charging.

Heh, that's what I was getting at as well. If the PS3 isn't turned on then it won't charge the controllers. ;)
