Best Buy Extended Product Plan Question? iPod

--Bourderline Unethical-- Maybe??

All right, i bought a 10Gb iPod a few months ago. And bought the extended warrenty (long story, everthing i buy from best buy always breaks or something :pinch: ) Anyway since Apple has now said that they will make the 15GB for $299.99 can i just say i broke (or break it  ) and then ask for the 15GB? The papers they gave you with it say it's covered to be replaced by anything as long as it's the same price (it is now)

I have already bought it back once and got a new 10Gb b/c of a power outage while syncing  . Would that be cool to do?

What do you guys think?

@JnCoKiLLa, Does the 15gb have better battery life?

@bach_m, that would be thw whole idea. But when i returned it for the one that was really messed up they played around with it. They had no idea what they were doing, but they still "checked" to see if it was really broken.

Yeah returning it would be hassle-free. That's what I would do, but do they include the price you paid including the extended warranty? If they do, go ahead and return it and get the 15gb.

If you want some excuses, say something about battery or compatibility issues or no firewire card.
