Rockett15
 I am having something weird happen when I apply a controls theme to Gnome 2.4 in Fedora Core 1 In X-Chat the typing bar and the channel title bar white out?! does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? chavo
Try this, I'm in Windows right now some I'm not sure of the exact name. Look for a setting named - Give style to input box, or somethig like that. I'm pretty sure it's an X-Chat setting that does that.

metal_dragen Veteran Posted January 9, 2004 Veteran Share Posted January 9, 2004 I've also experienced this problem. I'm running the Milk 2.0 GTK+ and Metacity decs. I just now found out that these were from Gooey Linux. I downloaded them from art.gnome.org :-/
TimeShot
Those themes (Milk and GlossyP) use the same gtkrc file - probably there is an error. I just figured out what setting faults the ugly error in X-Chat: Go to Settings > Preferences > Interface > Colors and change the background color. You could try to change this color to the grey one as the windows, but that'll change the background of the chatbox, too. Maybe you make a 100%-black picture and set this as the background in X-Chat.
