Cant imagine -40c

damn chips your so lucky, i had to work today, tomorrow also.

ITS SO COLD OUTSIDE!!! omg -40!!! is that with the wind factor , I HOPE!!!, lol

i SHOULD be at work too. I got a 2 week non-paid vacation (which sucks, i'd rather be going to work and getting paid) ....

I think the company I work for is out of money, so I've already started looking for another job :/ sucks to be me right now. My desk is right beside the heater, so I usually have it cranked :-)

I had to fly to North Dakota this past week and froze my ass off in my windbreaker (my only winter coat). Meanwhile back in Greenville it was 72 degrees! D'oh! :pinch:

Think that's bad? I had to live in North Dakota for 5 years (good ol' Minot), and I know at least one winter it got down to -47 degrees (with the wind chill)... almost ANYWHERE is warmer than there.

I was in school at the time, and they actually had SP (Security Police) on the bus with us to run us to our house... they said it was so cold that just a couple minutes outside would cause Frostbite. :o

edit: sunday and monday set records for power consumption in our area.. people with extra heaters, and plugging their cars in and such..

ill tell u how it feels...

its so cold u can feel ur bones freeze

the worst is when ur outside and u go inside to a heated area and u start to burn

i hate that burning feeling as well. stand outside long enough and your uncovered body parts will eventually go numb. as the feeling comes back, it burns.
