The Fussy Guide to Gaming with Intel graphics

Recommended Posts

Here is my Fussy Guide to Gaming with Intel Extreme Graphics and Extreme Graphics 2:

1. Settings-I like to set the drivery memory setting to high as shown below:

2. T&L-Intel Extreme Graphics and Extreme Graphics 2 do not have hardware T&l, but do support DX9 and zone rendering (unique to Intel Extreme Graphics and Extreme Graphics 2). It can run T&L games in software mode if a option is present for this.

3. What to play on one?:

T&L games-runs in software mode on Intel Extreme Graphics and Extreme Graphics 2:

-Call of Duty

-Max Payne 2

-Contract J.A.C.K

-The Hobbit

Non T&L:

-Need for Speed Underground

-Many MS games except Halo and Asherons Call 2

-EA FIFA 2001, 2003,World Cup 2002, 99, 2000, NBA Live 2003, 2004 (maybe?) and 2001, F1 2001,Tiger Woods 2004-2004, Cricket 2002/2004, Madden 2002, 2001, 2000, 99,98,97,Rugby 2001 ,The Sims

I know, my computer has onboard Intel graphics. What I meant was if by following this guide it would fix my 64mb onboard to be better than my 32mb PCI card.
