suprfli
i don't know what i set to make this happen but i reinstalled winXP pro and can't remember what i did. when i lock the screen i don't want the cursor blinking for me to enter a password. i like when by default the icon is there, it shows how many apps i have running and i have to click on the icon to enter my password. i have cats and i don't want to lock the screen and walk away and then they are walking on my keyboard typing into the open password area. :D i have both "use the welcome screen" and "use fast switching checked." is there some other security setting i have to check to force winXP to go to the welcome screen w/only the icon, numbers of apps running and no password blinking? suprfli
btw, using tweakui i chose to have the administrator account shown at the welcome screen. in that scenario when there are 2 accounts it only shows the icons and how many apps are running and then you have to click on the icon to enter your password. when i disable the admin at the welcome screen it goes right back to the same blinking entry when i lock my screen.
