Mini Spy Filter

Recommended Posts

I'm pleased to announce the restoration of the NSFW filter to the Mini Spy at the top of the forum page. This will automatically remove any topics which contain NSFW in the title (a requirement for any topic with nsfw content) from showing up in the mini spy.

You can toggle this per-browser by clicking on the text at the top right of the Mini Spy area:

We've also brought in a new feature, you can now choose to exclude any forum you're not interested in from showing in the Mini Spy.

Next to each forum you'll now see a new toggle icon which when clicked, will hide / show that forum in the spy. Any subforums of a hidden forum will also be excluded.

Again, this is a per-browser setting, so you're able to filter out NSFW and off-topic stuff while you're at work, and see everything from your home computer.

Let us know if you have any issues with this new feature.

The "Community Activity" area on the front page will be updated to reflect the new filters shortly.

Ahh, that thread doesn't have NSFW in the title, so it slipped through. I'll update the NSFW option to exclude forum 168 as well (in the mean time you can do this yourself using the green eye icon next to the forum)

It may be more effective if it reads Tags as that thread IS tagged NSFW. This is how it functioned before I believe :)

I'm pleased to announce that the filter now takes tags into account, so anything with a nsfw tag (doesn't have to be selected as the prefix) will be excluded from display if the filter is enabled.

The community activity on the front page has also now been updated to use the same NSFW filter and customisation options you can set up on the forums - you will need to go to the forums to customise your view, or toggle the nsfw filter on, but on the front page, the NSFW filter will automatically be applied if you're not logged in.
