BroChaos Veteran Posted January 9, 2004 Veteran Share Posted January 9, 2004 you still need a spare usb connector. you can buy the adapters for like $5.
linked
Yeah, you can do it- I've just finished doing it myself. There's alot of guides for it on xboxscene.com. It's a really, really easy mod- If you can solder.
scumdogmillionaire
how are the drivers that people have done though? i've debated getting an adapter myself, but dunno how well it will actually work maybe in longhorn they'll put some official drivers in :)
xRKx
I'll have to hunt down the links again - but the drivers I use work /beautifully/. Everything on the stick works, /except/ I think the analog triggers (though the triggers still work.) Beats my Logitech PC gamepad to hell and back. BroChaos Veteran Posted January 9, 2004 Veteran Share Posted January 9, 2004 the drivers are just alright imo. well, maybe it's the games. mvp baseball didn't use the pressure sensitive a/b/x/y buttons right. you had to press really hard to do anything. if you didn't, it wouldn't register.
