Xerino
OK, I was playing NFSU earler and all of a sudden it froze, fine, so I reset it, and then it crashed to desktop when I tried to load it again, the game wouldnt load, just an error reporting message, so i uninstalled it, and deleted every thing that had to do with it including my saved game :( then i tried to reinstall it, I got it installed but it just crashes to desktop even with the updates and the fresh install I need help if anyone can help me solve this problem I'd appriciate it. uniacidz
Uninstall again, then use a registry cleaner and make sure all reference to the game are deleted. Then make sure all files for the game deleted from the program folder. Use something like System Mechanic or Regcleaner for the registry. There are others out there, but you get my drift. Then make sure you have the proper Direct X installed and configured and also graphics and sound drivers as well. Once done, reinstall the game, dont run it, patch it immediately and then after patching, run it again and see how she goes. Post back results. xufa
this might sound silly, but a friend of mine had the same problem with counter strike. it wasn't software related at all. his ram was causing the problem. tell me your hardware specs. if you custom built your pc, make sure all drivers are current and components are fully compatible with one another. yanman
What you can do is, borrow a friend who has a more powerful video card, then throw it in your system to see if the game still runs. If it does, then obviously is a video card issue. Or you can bring the game to a friends place who has PC specs similar to yours, install it and see how it runs. If it runs fine for ages on his/her system, then there can be a few possibilities - 1. Something wrong with your software installation/configuration the NFSU is dependant on. 2. Could be a hardware issue. 3. Look

IMO, however, blurr motion makes it a bit more difficult to race (especially online).
