mr_daemon
The whole cut and paste argument doesn't really need arguiing does it? I mean, on OS X we have Spring Loaded folders, which seems more logical to me. Certainly easier for a beginner to grasp, i'd think?Pardon me if i missed the concept, i didn't feel like reading 100 posts :p Actually, Spring Loaded Folders suck when you are stuck on a laptop and you have to move five files using the trackpad. Very fun experience. Slip out of the top folder and bye bye all the others.
Dr.Jones
So, maybe a command-x function, called "mark these files ..." combined with a command-v "move these files" (those two command would have to be independant of the clipboard. Or maybe not... Needs further thinking) inside the Finder, and only when files are selected would be useful. And/or maybe confusing. I know I wouldn't be confused, but i'm not a real n00b example, even on a Mac.
