Just Got Back PSAT Score: Have a Few Questions

Recommended Posts

Well....

The SD Zoo is not a city, so saying "than any other city" would be incorrect as phrased, even if people wouldn't bat an eye in normal conversation.

However, "some of them", as written, *could* also grammatically refer to the noun preceeding it -- city -- and you're not talking about cities in captivity.

It is indeed the "any other city" portion that would most clearly need to be changed as it compares a zoo to a city. One would have to say "than any other zoo", and the "some of them" could probably ride as is.

Anyway, trickier than usual, and probably not something to fret about if you're only a sophomore.

Darn good score if you haven't yet had the chance to even sit down and figure out where your weaknesses might be, how to prep more for them and so on. You still have a couple years (roughly) 'til you'd probably start trying the SAT, which is the one that matters most.
