adamp2p
It said in the CD insert: "Windows 95 (OSR2 or later), Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000. Although Max Payne has been found to work on Windows XP, it has not been thoroughly tested and thus Windows XP is not officially supported. Additionally, Windows NT is not supported. Max Payne requires Microsoft DirectX 8.0 or newer to be installed. " Well for one I can't start a new game. I can do the tutorial, but everytime I start a new game the screen flashes back to the desktop.

It installed fine but on some computers it messes up.. to fix it you need to get the v1.05 patch for it which fixes that. aquadark
For me, the game is working only without sound - I tried everything, but It would just not run. So I played it with sound disabled ;)
