Deus Ex 2

Okay, when I try and run the game, a little error message pops up that says something like "This game requires a video card that has pixel shader 1.1". I know one way to solve that is to buy another video card, but that's not something I really want to do. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks.

There's not much you can do man. If your card doesn't support it, it ain't gonna happen. Even if there was a way to force it to run on your card, it'd prolly run REALLY bad...

heres a translation for you guys....

"try that program that emulaters ps1.1 3d something" - oops missed a comma, and a slight spelling mistake it ment to read "try that program that emulates ps1.1, 3d... something" where ps1.1 = pixel shaders 1.1

hey come on i got an A for english! i guess i need to brush up on some skills...

Well, I downloaded 3d analyzer, and DX2 will actually start up now. But, when it gets to the loading screen, the game just closes...

try the 3d analyse program 1 more time with these settings... i got these from another forum which has been translated.

"I have the same problem with one geforce 4 MX 440, looking for in several forums tourists I have found how to solve it:

First unloading 3D-Analyze of here

http://www.tommti-systems.de/main-D... to nalyzer-v23.rar

Later descompri it to me and it follows these steps:

to 1.Ejecutar 3D-Analyze

2.Pulsa button SELECT and selects to the file sh3.exe of the directory where you installed the game

to 3.Marcar the following squares:

Limits hardware (CAP bits)

- emulate pixel to shader caps

- emulate bump map caps

- emulate max. sim. textures

Anti-detect MODE

- shaders

- textures

to 4.Pulsar button RUN

5.Puedes to press the button "Save batch cases out" in order to create an EXE file bat and to be able to play the next time without repeating this process

I hope to have solved your problem:)

Nus we see byes!"

It's the full version, stefanka. When I used your setup, Flash, the same thing happened. Game starts up, but when it gets to the loading screen I get some error messages.
