I stubbed my toe on the wall...

 Go to the hospital. If it's not properly cared for, may cause you some permanet pains. And next time wear shoes :woot:

I didnt think they do much for broken toes because they are easy to heal, just keep pressure off it and after about a couple of weeks it'll feel better. Oh and clean it up too :x

what you need now is the NHS, coz they could check if you needed anything.... for FREE!!

meanwhile: someone please move ====>> jokes & funny stuff! also, you didnt stub your toe particularly, more kicked a brick wall fifteen times with no shoes on by the looks of things! :(

seriously tho, bad luck dude! :pinch:

Dude..go to a doctor anytime you think you broke something.

I have broken all my toes before and nope, there is not much that can be done, but they take an x-ray to make sure there are no fractures or bone splinters etc.. it is always best to get real qualified medical advice.

Wound up almost losing one because of ignoring it, was a compund fracture and I did not realize it.

Got infected and luckily the ampicilin worked or they'd have lopped it off :x

A fat guy jumped on my foot once whilst playing tennis (!?!), and broke it.

But the doctors just said to leave it, and try to keep weight off it. There was a big splinter of bone floating around inside my foot flesh, and they said it'd just disolve!!!

Hurt a lot for a week, then seemed fine.

Breaking fingers is a bloody nightmare, I've broken my thumb 3 times, not fun. (Especially when my main interests are IT (typing) and playing guitar!)

one time i broke every blood vessel in my foot. i actually went to the doctor for that one. my entire foot was purple. i wasn't allowed to walk on it at all for over a week, because if i got a little cut or anything on it i would never stop bleeding.

I broke a toe once. Didn't go to the hospital for it or anything, but it was crooked and hurt like hell for about 2 weeks afterwards. It's fine now, so really it's kind of up to you. If you can't take the pain, or just want lots of sympathy from other people, go to the doc and get crutches. :)

hope it feels better soon!

Toe Update - I got some skills. I managed to break 3 with one stub! If anyone can beat that i'd be impressed. Very swollen and going to lose the nails probably. Like most people have said you can't do much for broken toes. I took some popcicle sticks and made splints and its working fine.. Although it does hurt to walk a bit :p..
