Chode
if memory serves, in the options it is not enough that you change it to say what res you want....once it reads what resoultion you want it at, you have to hit enter to SELECT it.... unconvential in terms of PC games, but remember, console port :p
Keldyn
Don't you change the res with the left and right keys? Then you hit enter for your selection. I don't quite remember.

prz
I know for a fact in Grand Theft Auto 3 for PC that you can't change the resolution if there's currently a game running.
threetonesun
I had that same problem, but only the first time I played. Afterwards it worked fine, and I could change it no problem
qoa
It would change for me on a gforce4 mx 420, so it should work for you. (I grasp that it's not, just saying there was no problem on a lesser card.)

Yep, Vice City is the same. Make sure you change your settings before you load up your game.
DigitalN.
maybe you should try w/o starting the game? i.e. not loading a game before you try to change it
TwiztedCam
Right when you load up Vice City, don't load up a game, go to options>display and change it. You can't change the res while you're playing.
