Japlabot
My little brother says that he went to one of those entertainment places (win the tickets if you hit the crocidile, games with 'guns' that you hold, that have IR on the end to shoot at the screen, have Daytona USA multilink, etc.) and he says that it had Tuxracer! He knows what tux racer is because I installed a windows port on his computer to play with, But I wouldn't of expected anyone to port Tuxracer to a full on aracade machine and charge $$ per play. Why not stick to commercial games like Daytona and Virtua Cop Has anyone else seen this?

Japlabot
uhhh is http://www.tuxracer.com/ a rip of the http://tuxracer.sourceforge.net/ or are they sellouts? :s It really annoys me that they even make a Windows Port... that's what Tux is against. I would like to know about this also, the pay version looks a lot better then the open source one, but there is no OS X port :(

Shadrack
I can't get Tux Racer to work on my machine :(. It always locks up. Probably related to sound, like everything else is.
Xe|oN
For anyone who is interested Tux Racer was originally open source but then the developer decided he'd go commercial with it so the latest and last open source version of Tux Racer is .61 (i think). Every version after that has you have to pay for and it not released under an open source license so the code is not available.
Japlabot
But that just defeats the whole meaning of what Tux is about :(
Rockett15
 i agree with the above comment.. tux is like a symbol of open source in being the logo of linux ..having a commerical product based around tux seems weird
