Blackh4wk
hey guys, just a quick question...I just installed Red Alert 2..and i went to go get some multiplayer action on westwood online (the internal server manager)...and i can get into the games no problem..it's just that my units always explode after about 30 seconds into the game and i lose. any clue why this is occurring? thanks in advance!
eXclusive
Well the westwood servers have had problems the last couple of days. But the problem you are descriping also happens in the new C&C generals. It happens when you use a No-cd crack or trainer.
Blackh4wk
hmm well i'm not using either a trainer or no-cd...so i'm unsure where the problem lies..but thanks for that.
eXclusive
Then are you use the ones you are playing with got the legit version ? Because if the game detects a mismatch between players, it blows up the players.
Blackh4wk
so in other words, each individual player on westwood online needs to have an individual cd key for each account?...cuz my buddy lent me his but he is playing as well.. eXclusive
I dont know about the cd-key. But if you play with a guy who has a no-cd crack ( Some No-cd cracks actually work online ) Or uses a trainer, then the game detects that and blows up players for cheating or other. Blackh4wk
alright, well it always occurs that it's just me blowing up, which is very odd.
eXclusive
Then i am pretty sure, your copy of the game is messed up ... Make sure you dont got any mods installed. Make sure you are using the cd and no no-cd cracks. Make sure you dont got any trainers running, or in your RA folder. Make sure you got your own Cd-key. Blackh4wk
k i just tried again and i exploded...but the thing that gets me is that it cant be the cd-key, because i am able to login...i don't have any mods...there are no trainers or cd cracks...but if it installed correctly..how could it be messed up? eXclusive
Maybe it lets you login with that CD-KEY. And then it sees its already in use when you join a game, and then boom ?

abysal
Each player needs to have an original CD-KEY.
