Setting wallpaper on second monitor

Recommended Posts

I'm sure the answer is very easy, but I can not figure out how to set different wallpaper on my second display, right now I have it stretching from the main display, but I would like to use different images. Can someone give me some instructions on how to do this? Thanks!

The only thing I know of and have been using since 2003 is Ultramon.. works great, and you can use separate wallpapers, and customize them by Stretch/Tile/Fit as well.

There are the guides above. Personally I use DisplayFusion, and just turn off it's taskbar functions and the like.

It really is annoying that MS didn't make a simple interface to do this :/

O_o

Go to Settings :: Personalization :: Background.  RIght-click on one of the images in your history.  Choose "Set for monitor X".  Profit!

I've been playing with displayfusion, and I really like it so far, I'm considering buying a license.

It was a nobrainer for me back with Windows 7, the wallpaper was bonus, but the taskbar was necessity :)

The title bar buttons can be nice, I love having the 'send to next' 'send to previous' monitor buttons, more convenient than dragging to another screen :)

I'll take your word for it; I am too tired to check.

it's easy, go to File Explorer and find two wallpapers you would like to have on Desktop1 and Desktop2. Select both of them and right click on them, context menu appears, Set as background and voila!
