Windows 10 Media Creation Tool Can't Find USB

Hello,

I'm trying to perform a clean install of Windows 10 on a neighbor's computer, however I can't get the tool to recognize any of the USB flash drives that I have. I have tried it on an 8, 16, and 64 GB flash drive (Sansdisk, and Microcenter brand), however the tool does not show any flash drives. I've also cleaned the partition table on each device but I have no luck.

 

Does anybody have a solution (other than RuFus)? Thanks!

Did you try Rufus? Sorry but Rufus is the only way I got it to work.

Lol, yes I tried Rufus. I finally got the computer to boot off the usb stick. It shows the flash drive as the primary hard drive, so HP's BIOS sucks.
