A very sad day for the history of Australian car manufacturing today.  The final Falcon and Territory models have left the line, and the foctory is now in shut down.

The world lost some fantastic RWD cars today.

Are Holden's still being made there, or are they gone too?

Still up and running for now.  Production set to stop 2017/2018.

Indeed it is quite sad. There was a show that being shown on the ABC about this, if you are in Australia you can watch it here: http://iview.abc.net.au/programs/end-of-the-line-the-last-australian-ford/NS1658H001S00

Not sure if the US can watch it though.

Thanks for the link!

I thought more car nuts would care about this, given this was one of the best large RWD saloons.

I think the biggest problem is that all the car nuts are in the US/UK and the news is not getting around yet.
