xTanium
Ok. I just got a copy of Final Cut Express 1 Jan 5 :( and need some help. I edited a movie in iMovie, everything was ok and nothing was wrong. Sound working, video, everything. Then I export it to QuickTime (everything still ok). Then i imported it into Final Cut Express 1.0 I dragged it on the timeline and it showed video and audio. But when I played it, I didn't hear any audio. My volume is on and it's not playing the audio. It shows that there is audio, though. Is there something to turn sound on in Final Cut Express? Someone please help!!!! Bling3k12
Do you have your FireWire camera plugged in? The only thing I can think of is that it's trying to play the audio back through your camera or something.
Redestium
Maybe the track was muted?
patseguin Global Moderator Posted January 14, 2004 Global Moderator Share Posted January 14, 2004 I believe you need to go to the View menu, Video, Real-Time. Also, FC Express 2.0 is out. I wonder if you get a free upgrade since you got it only a week ago.
Bling3k12
I don't think so... unless Apple specifically stated it, it's $99 for the upgrade. You could return it and say it's not what you wanted, then go to another store and buy the new 2.0.
