take my cd collection to my friends room and have them try and search my system wchich is fully legal. at least the FBI hasn't come though campus yet, they did a few years ago and everyone was dumping and ruining their burned cd's to try and keep from being busted. LOL I missed all the action :(

why do so many people say run from them? all they are gonna do is fine you money, id rather pay them the damn fine than run from them and get a warrent out for my arrest and be felon on the run, and face spending 5 years in jail for running cause you was to ###### to pay the fines they charge you.

I dunno...I'd be rather scared to face the fine with the 8+ gigs of music on this baby.

Whoops...did I say that out loud???

I'd set traps out to capture them and then toture them by constantly playing an .mp3 of Michael Jackson "Beat It" non stop 24hrs a day over & over & over again.

Unfortunately this is only a pipe dream cause the RIAA wouldn't be officially allowed into Canada

Canada does have it's own version of the RIAA and these idiots are more intrested in taxing the hell out of us rather than aggressiviely suing people, maybe it's because the judges would be more inclined to favour the defendant than this authority.

They also tried to hint at the idea of something like a 15% tax on every single internet connection in Canada too pay for copyright infringement, regardless if a person downlaods .mp3s or not, of course no way thats ever going to happen.
