DELTA75329
hello... could everyone do me a huge favor?go to this page and vote for team 3. They are friends of my wife. lets show them some neowin power. if you take the few seconds to do this, thanks! Isn't this some form of voter fraud? You're manipulating the results and most of the people in this thread probably didn't even watch the show. As such, all their votes are being cast dishonestly. ...is it just me, or does cheating not count as a bad thing anymore?
OPaul
How is this cheating or voter fraud? There are no rules that say we have to watch the show the vote.

DELTA75329
How is this cheating or voter fraud? There are no rules that say we have to watch the show the vote. If you have no idea for what it is you're voting, how can you give an honest opinion? I'm gonna give you two choices. Movie A and Movie B. You haven't seen any of them, but I want you to tell me which one you liked better. Seriously, how do you decide which is better when you have no information on your choices? And what about the contestants? Is this fair to them? If the actual viewing audience decided that Team 1 was better than the rivals, but Team 3 wins because a bunch of net surfers who didn't even know about any of them an hour ago clicked their mice, how is this supposed to reflect an accurate result? Anyone who watches trading spaces knows that there are prizes involved here. This thread encourages dishonesty and fraud. I wouldn't care if this was good clean fun, but it's not. The poll doesn't require me knowing the 3 families. If that was the case then hardly anyone would be able to vote, that would just be pointless. What would you rather we do, go out and meet each of the three families and then deliberate and then vote, no, that's just stupid. There is nothing dishonest about voting on like we have, perhaps we all based our decision on which family was more attractive (there are pictures of each of the three families). DELTA75329
I'm not trying to be a nagging nanny, but whether you have 6 people doing it or 6000, to me dishonesty is still just that.

There is nothing dishonest about voting on like we have, perhaps we all based our decision on which family was more attractive (there are pictures of each of the three families). Wow! Pictures of the families! Why didn?t you say so? That should make it so much easier to judge the WORK they performed. C?mon now, the poll is a vote to see who did the best job in a competition, not who has the best smile in the posted pictures. Maybe if I could find pictures of the work they did, then this wouldn?t be so much of a problem. (But even if pics of the work done were made available, how many people here would bother to look?) People are voting for Team 3 because they have been told to do so. They are not voting as they feel. This unfairly manipulates the result of the poll, and yet you insist there?s nothing wrong with this? I understand we?re not talking about anything drastically important here, but it bothers me that basic integrity is not part of the standard package anymore. Tell me something? Did you actually see the show? If you didn?t, then please explain to me how you can provide an HONEST opinion on it. This goes back to the Movie example I mentioned earlier. Now I ask you to answer my example. Tell me which is better: Movie A or Movie B. Then tell me why you made that choice. With no information about either in hand, you would have to pick one at random, or be told which one to pick. Either way, you couldn?t tell me WHY you made said choice, only HOW you made it. Beyond that, this thread is off-topic on Neowin, and it contributes nothing to the community. So if my points on morality don?t suit you, that?s fine. I can?t change your mind about what?s moral in this world nor will I even bother to try. But perhaps the rules of the forum might be a little more relevant.
