Sir Topham Hatt Posted November 16, 2016 Share Posted November 16, 2016 Having just moved house and set up the computer area, I now have a funny problem. Speakers are the lovely Audio Engine 5 Before, the speakers were quite a way away from the desk behind me. Now I have the monitor in the middle, speakers either side. I would have put them on a shelf, but the shelves I put up aren't strong enough (the wall isn't that great!). I guess I could move them on to the shelf but then I'll have a trailing wire, which won't look that nice. Plus, there's a risk of them falling. So there's two problems: 1) Every so often, I hear a growing hiss. Then all of a sudden, there's a small POP and it's silent. I don't know if this is an internal thing or what, or if there's something I can do to solve it? The speakers are plugged into the same PC as before - on-board audio. 2) I guess there's nothing I can do about the mobile phone clicks?
