illippinno
Hey guys. I hope someone can help me out. I'm looking for a pc microphone to use with Counter Strike, and even just for chatting. But I'm specifically looking for those over-one-ear microphone that most people would see tv operators would use. Not the full headset microphones, but the one that only goes over one ear, and has the microphone curving towards your chin (not one where its actually in front of your mouth). I found 2 pics of cell phones ear-piece set that is similar to what Im looking for: Is there any place online I can find this at? Or even at the stores if anyone has seen something like this. Thanks! MxxCon
they suck becuase you won't hear sounds from one ear..especially in CS when you need to have positional sound get normal headset+mic

bangbang023 Veteran Posted January 13, 2004 Veteran Share Posted January 13, 2004 well if you are like me and only use the mic and dont use the headset part, it's not that bad of an idea. I just keep the headset around my neck with the mic in the right positioning. If you plan on use the headset part though, then you are nuts. MxxCon
might i suggest these: http://www.koss.com/koss/kossweb.nsf/02Pro...ereophones^CS80 i have KOSS SB40 and they are totally awesome. comfy, good quality, good mic. tho by looking at the stats CS80 looks better, personally i doubt it..they are cheaper and smaller..how can it have better response range?

Dashel
I'm looking for the same thing. An over the ear mic (no speakers) that is comfortable to wear, background noise cancellation, and a quality mic. I currently hang it around my neck and position the mic as a previous poster does but find that it makes the neck and upper back prone to fatigue. I just need the mic...I have speakers for output. ;) Boom mics just don't cut it.
