GLOBAL GIVEAWAY: Win a Huawei Honor 8 Android flagship phone + 128GB SanDisk microSD card! [Update: It's over!]

It's the most wonderful time of the year... and we've been getting into the spirit of the festive season by giving some lovely presents to our readers.

For the second of our Christmas giveaways, we're offering an Android flagship phone, along with an extra freebie!

The Honor 8 is the latest flagship handset from Huawei's mobile e-brand, with a wide range of impressive features, including:

  • 5.2-inch display with Full HD resolution
  • Octa-core CPU, plus i5 co-processor
  • 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB storage (plus microSD card support up to 128GB)
  • Dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with hybrid autofocus and HDR support
  • 8-megapixel selfie-cam
  • Fingerprint sensor with 0.4-second unlock
  • Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC support
  • Smart Control infrared module to control other devices
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac
  • USB Type-C port
  • 3000mAh battery with fast-charging (up to 47% in 30 minutes)
  • 4G LTE
  • 7.45mm-thick; 153g

The Honor range-topper comes with Huawei's EMUI 4.1 user interface (based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow), but the company is working on EMUI 5.0, based on Android 7.0 Nougat, and its first preview has already been released.

The Honor 8 is usually priced at $399 in the United States, and €369 in Europe. It earned itself a very good score in our review a couple of months ago - make sure you check that out!

But one of our lucky readers will now get the chance to see how good the handset is for themselves. This is your chance to win a Huawei Honor 8 in stunning Sapphire Blue, along with a massive 128GB SanDisk Ultra Class 10 microSDXC card!

The handset includes dual-SIM support, and is EU-spec (which means it comes with a European plug) - but the giveaway is open to all of our readers around the world!

Woohoo!

No, the microSD card isn't to scale (!!)

How to enter

For this giveaway, we're using Rafflecopter to help us track the entries, and to randomly select a winner.

If you're not a fan of social media, we totally understand - and you can still enter without doing anything on Facebook or Twitter - but our social media engagement is a big part of what helps us to grow (and to bring you more cool giveaways), so we hope you understand why we're encouraging you to use these options... and enticing you to do so with extra entries in the contest!

To enter, simply submit a comment below, telling us the one feature that you like most about the Honor 8. This will give you one entry in the giveaway (multiple comments will be disqualified!). If you don't yet have a Neowin username, don't worry - it's free, quick and easy to register!

You can also get extra entries to increase your chance of winning by choosing one or more of the following options:

  • Follow me @gcaweir on Twitter. (This is worth one entry.)
  • Follow @NeowinFeed on Twitter. (This is worth two entries.)
  • 'Like' Neowin on Facebook. (This is worth two entries.)
  • Tweet about the giveaway. (You can do this once per day, and each tweet is worth three entries.)

a Rafflecopter giveaway

The winner will be selected at random as soon as the contest has closed (the countdown at the top left of the Rafflecopter module above shows how much time you have left to enter). We'll publish details of the winner once we've made contact - so be on the lookout to find out if you've won!

Good luck!

Update: This giveaway has now ended. We will now be selecting a winner at random, so be on the lookout for a message that might just be bringing you the good news that you've won!

But if you're not the lucky winner of these awesome prizes, don't worry - we've got more giveaways coming soon!
