i am looking for a word

Recommended Posts

i am thinking of calling this friend of mine and asking her out, well kinda..

thats the thing. if i say hangout, it sounds more like yeah mate, lets just hangout like common friends

if i were to say meet up it sounds kinda formal, more business like

so i am looking how to say that i am not asking u out on a date but at the same i am not asking u to hangout like i always do with friends. kinda special and kinda not. what ya say?

Let me explain more. Ask her to watch a movie with you sometime. Not go out to a movie. Gotta be at one of your houses. Make it some crappy feel good movie.

I have mine. Its John Q.

I have seen it about 10 times with 10 different people. Every one of them I at least kissed.

Girls understand the movie concept. If she turns you down, then youll know shes not interested. If she says sure, she will want you to kiss her at some point durning the movie

Edit: Still havent seen the whole damn movie yet.... lol

i would like to get to know you a bit more ;)

whatever you do don't say that!!

haha

yeah. i aint gonna say that

i already spoke to her and it came out as hang out and get together.. but i said it with an intention.. i think the intention of 'hanging out' was more important than the choice of words i made...

tell me i am right :D

Actions probably matter more than words, and a lot more depends on what you want to go do (and how) than a word or two you use when bringing it up.

That having been said "get together" might be about what you're looking for.
