Ubuntu Server has always yielded the best results for me. I often get slack from others on using it, but it's the easiest, fastest to setup, and also doesn't use bleeding edge buggy software like some other distros. Otherwise Cent/Fedora if I have to. The one ubuntu web server I am working with this month has 6 cores, 8GB of RAM, transferred 40TB of data the last 2 weeks and hasn't blinked once.

Don't really use it as a desktop OS, not a fan of Unity w/ Ubuntu. Mint probably, and then something that handles Gnome3 effectively.

Linux Mint XFCE is only the 3rd distro I have used and it is really nice so far!

Going from Mint 17.3, to Manjaro, I'm in love with LMDE2 now...

I've found that I really enjoy Manjaro GNOME. Gives me the Arch flexibility without the headaches. That being said, I am currently giving Solus GNOME a go on my laptop, and I'm definitely liking it so far.
