colordeficiency
It was said to be alike Warcraft 3? Any thoughts.
Keldyn
It is not bad at all. Very much like Warcraft III, only, with LOTR characters.

Miran
Not bad.. But if they didn't tell you who the characters were, you wouldn't know it was LOTR most of the time.

jkinzer
Major complaint in reviews I read was around pathfinding issues.
Flash
isn't EA also making a war of the ring game? I saw a trailer of that and it makes the sierra war of the ring look really bad
memNOC
i played the RoTK demo and was impressed.. the controls might need getting used to and that camera bugs the crap out of me, but everything else: the fighting sequences, graphics and sound were superb from what i could tell.. the game really holds you on the edge throughout the story, and there were many exciting moments, thats for sure.. i havent played the other ones, but i think RoTK isnt a letdown.. more of a pleasant surprise actually, since i wasnt expecting much out of it anyway.. ;)

I think the guys behind c&c generals are working on it. Aren't they working for EA? I saw some screenshots in a gamer mag. Wooh. Incredible. memNOC
MEM, what's ROTK like? RPG? as i said, i just played the demo.. it didnt include any character development or deep storylines.. they just set you up to fight right off the bat.. but from what i could tell from the very small demo, the thing should be cool.. but yea, i think it's an RPG..
colordeficiency
So which is better? ROTK? WOTR? From what I see ROTK have the movie license while WOTR have the book license?
syphern
Ok i just played ROTK demo too, its pretty impressive! But as mentioned camera really sucks. And which one is better, ROTK? WOTR? Well it all depends on what you like. Action 3rd person hack and slash (like golden axe) go for ROTK, and if you are into strategy go for WOTR. Again they are both pretty average games and both have downsides.
scoult01
Return of the King isnt too bad, although Ive found the part where you are meant to kill the dead king severly bugged. For instance, if you choose to play as Aragorn at the start of the level, you start as Sam... o.O
