Keldyn
Don't sensitive skin shaving creams work for you, Keldyn?Radish? I've been shaving since I was 15 and it never used to be a problem. I don't know. Maybe they changed the ingredient:unsure:ure:

RadishTM Veteran Posted January 16, 2004 Veteran Share Posted January 16, 2004 I've been shaving since I was 15 and it never used to be a problem. I don't know. Maybe they changed the ingredients? I use to get some rashes too, then changed shaving creams. Dunno if you got this brand in Australia, but try 'King Of Shaves' menthol shaving cream - designed for rashes, works a treat (Y) Radish?
giga Veteran Posted January 16, 2004 Veteran Share Posted January 16, 2004 Wax? Doesnt that hurt? I dont know since i've never tried..and I dont think I ever will. And yes, Gilette will most likely release a 4 blade razor just to compete with the Quattro.
Keldyn
also, he has sensitive skin; well thats one part of him at least that isn't scary... ;) It's scary if you see the rash I get from that stuff. :( I remember having to rub ice across my neck because of how badly it burned. Dunno if you got this brand in Australia, but try 'King Of Shaves' menthol shaving cream - designed for rashes, works a treat Cheers Radish. I shall keep an eye out for that one. :)

Mike Frett
No reason for me to waste 5 bucks on a man made outfit like that then have to pay 10 bucks for razor refills when a 10 pack of throw away bics work perfectly fine...
Stokkolm
I shave about every other week. I have no facial hair...Well, it's coming slowly. :pI guess I'm only 16 and all... *shrugs* Gillete sent me a Mach 3 in the mail for free on my 16th birthday. Damn nice of them. They sent me a Turbo version for my 18th birthday! I already had a regular one but I'll take it.
RauL
I just hate that razor refills prices , at least here are WAY too expensive , specially for the damn MACH 3 TURBO , they're even more expensive only for being 'turbo' anyway to answer your question, (dont know if its the same but here is called like this) the Wilkinson 4, isn't any better, just propaganda. From my experience I felt more confortable with the Mach 3 Turbo. veryyy smooth - only downside = the prices
ze-newie
I thought they were going a little overboard on the whole 4 blades thing...I think I'll just stick with my Mach 3. I used to use the Gillette Venus razor cuz it was made for women but one time they were out of stock of cartridges so I bought a Mach 3 and ...what a difference! It really is the best shave out there (I'm a girl so I'm thinking leg hair isn't nearly as tough as a beard, but it's still a very good razor ) @ Keldyn, if you have problems with shaving cream irritating your skin, try this Aveeno shave cream. It's for "sensitive skin, irritated skin, and razor bumps." I recommended it to a mate with similar problems and he's happy with it

NeoSigma
Mach 3 Turbo is the one I use now for my beard but I only have to shave 2 times a week (lucky me :D ) so even though cartidges may cost a bit more I don't have to buy them as often. I have to say it is by far the best I've ever used.
enigma429ad
i changed to the shick quattro maybe a month ago and i think it's the best shave ever. i guess it does get clogged often though, but i get such a close shave that it's amazing. i've been shaving since i was around 14 or so and have gone through other manual and electric razors and this one is the best for me. i also have to shave every single day and if i wanted, i could probably shave twice a day. it is the biggest pain in the world. i enjoy my goatee but sometimes wish i could get throat cancer just to kill all the hair so i'd never have to shave again. :( oh well. that new mach 3 though looks mighty cool and i'll have to give it a try. tru dat on the refills too high. Mike Frett
Yeah, Lol, I hate shaving. But I just shrug it off most of the time and walk around with stubbles all over, I don't care what people think.
