Needing some basic image editing help

I want to get the attached image printed on a black t-shirt.

 

The blue fade on the background of the image, which I want to keep, stretches to the outside of the image so if it was printed, you'd see a box around it.

 

Could someone help me fade the edges to black, so they'd blend in perfectly on a black t-shirt?

I think, when that is printed on a t-shirt, you'll still see a top and bottom border.

 

Seems the left and right are sorted, though!

 

Can anyone confirm?

 

It's just that once it's printed, I have to pay £15, no matter what

I may be wrong but whoever does the silk screening should be able to fix it.

I think you need an image designed from scratch for the shirt . I think the image has way too much gradients and blue fade to remove.

Maybe just use the Logo??
