jwkuipers
I would think VNC would work from a mac. Also you could try rdesktop: http://www.rdesktop.org/ You are using X right?

Southern Patriot
FWIW, if the PC is running XP Pro, you can use Microsoft's remote desktop software on the PC. Microsoft makes a client for OS X that works very well. From my tests, it's actually faster than VNC.
NeoMayhem
From my tests, it's actually faster than VNC. I find VNC a lot faster, but it depends on the client that you use and the settings. The best remote desktop app I have ever seen is apples remote desktop, it is really fast and you can view tons of OS X machines at once with it. But it is Mac -> Mac only :p

Come on, fair is fair. :(

suntzu
You can use the built in RDP Client in XP? If so what needs to be configed on the apple to allow it?
