Lenovo G40-70 - which preinstalled softwares should I remove?

Hello everyone. I'm sorry if I asked in the wrong place, I'm new here, please understand. Thank you.

A few days ago, my Lenovo G40-70 laptop has stopped responding. I managed to reset everything, back to the time I first bought the laptop. The problem that I have is that there are many softwares pre-installed that I don't know which ones should i remove. And yes, I removed the softwares that I know i don't use. I also haven't installed any programs yet.

Also, I don't know how to "fresh install the OS" and I don't have the disc required. My Windows version is 8.1 by the way.

I just need a hand in determining which of these can I remove. Thank you for answering.

Well the software installed will only affect your not responding if they are set to start at startup. If they aren't set to start at startup they only take up space on drive and wouldn't affect your pc not responding. I would look at your task manager and see whats using your resources and look at what's being started at startup.
