Why dont you just add it and find out. You can also remove credit cards. As far as I know there is no way around this. It's a precaution they have to take in order to make sure the credit card isnt stolen.
imation2458
I know I am going to add it but i dont want to ruin my few chances with the PayPal system...I think thats why its telling me i needed to do the expanded use thing on my current card... B/c i closed so many accounts with the same card number...Should i just add the new card to my current account or would it be better (more of a chance to work) to make a whole new paypal account with the new card info? Thanks
Blodia
...Like I said, I dont think theres any way around the expanded use program. You have to wait till you get your number.
tkyoshi
I don't think you can add a new paypal account, it will conflict with information on file, however you can talk to customer service and they can work with you. They'll be able to make changes for you. As for bank account funding, you don't actually have to transfer the funds to the account first. You can send an echeck directly from your bank account. IT will take the same amount of days as a normal transfer (about 4 business days) but it's easier. Plus the recipient will recieve notification of the pending transaction.
