Gary_Player
I forget which show that had a really funny skit about a new razor with 10 blades. Might have been SNL. The Daily show had one where they interviewed both companies and talked about the merrits of 3-blades vs 4 blades. Then the reporter guy introduced his design, it was 4 mach3s or quatros (i cant remember which) all electric taped to a central handle that spun around :s it was a freaking razor-whirlwind-of-death

MR_Candyman
beh...nothing beats the comfort of a straight blade shave...waiting for mine in the mail right now... and yes I'd shaved with a straight blade before, a bit tricky at first, but not buying expensive blades, AND if done right, a better shave than even a mach 3 turbo. I'm on my second last mach 3 blade...hopefully I'll never buy another...geez they're a ripoff...

jackwanders
ok. Apparently nearly EVERYONE missed this point and now this thread is all out of control. I'm only gonna say this once... THE M3P HAS 3 BLADES, NOT 4!!! There. Everyone jumped on the '4 blade' joke bandwagon because the thread starter doesn't know what he's talking about. The M3P is special not because it's got 4 blades, but because it uses a freakin' battery to make your hair stand on end. Sheesh...if you're gonna go one a joke rampage about a product, at least do it right.

QuarterSwede
ADMINS take note, we really need a new?Shaving Forum>? think about it subforums? issues & cuts technics new hardware releases That is funny coming from the thread starter. I use the regular Mach 3 because paying extra for the Turbo is a complete waste of money when I use shaving cream anyway. Oh and whoever said that the expensive $17-$20 shaving cream was worlds better than the other stuff is insane! I have used expensive shaving cream and it actually worked worse than the good old $0.88 original green botteled Colgate shaving cream which lasts for months. The only thing I can't stand is how much the blades cost and how crappy electric razors work. Even the Braun Synchro (the one that washes its self) doesn't give you as close a shave as a razor. To the guy who said straight razors are best: I totally believe you and you have some balls man. I'd use one but I'm afraid I'd accidently slit my throat!:pinch:ch: Edited January 18, 2004 by Jstphish

QuarterSwede
oh colgate!not good for the "lower" hairs on your body, but is good for the face That wouldn't be a problem for me. I don't shave "down there." I find that hair only heightens the "experience." ;) ;)
