Fear the Pandaz
He's barely moving but he is breathing. His eyes are only half open. He had plenty of food and water and I moved him out of his cage in case there was something wrong with it. I don't hear any wheezing or anything, but he moves sluggishly and his eyes are narrow. Any advice? Please help :(

Thekk
Can't you just look one up in the phonebook? They are probably listed under "Veterinarian" (or something..) Greetings, Thekk
Fear the Pandaz
I just looked online in a vet finder, and the nearest vet that treats guinea pigs is 45 minutes away. I'm 14 so I can't drive, and my dad is at work. So I really have no way of getting to a vet.
Fear the Pandaz
Holy crap I hear a little popping sound when he breathes. This is bad. Maybe I can call a vet and get assistance over the phone.

Solarix
i can say i had a total of 4 guinea pigs, 1 i put to sleep because she was epeleptic, the other 3 died because of a combonation of old age (from 6 to 7 years old) and also they developed the flu, sounds like your guniea pig has a mild case of the flu trust me get it to a vet asap call ur dad tell him maybe he can some home and take you over, i had to pur 4 guniea pigs to sleep by myself, i hated it, i wish you best of luck to you and your guniea pigs

wired57
Question, how much vitium C do you give him? do you give him fresh oranges and such. Tang is really helpful for them, cause a lake of C in them will kill them.

Fear the Pandaz
I haven't payed much attention to him other than food and water lately, and I regret it now. I just gave him some spinach and he started to nibble it but then it almost looked like he was took weak to chew and he just sort of froze with it in his mouth. He's just sitting there :(

I think we have some clementines... I'll check...
Malechai Veteran Posted January 16, 2004 Veteran Share Posted January 16, 2004 so are you going to call someone to help you get him to a vet or are you going to sit on the internet and talk about it while he could potentially be dying?
