He fixed it though... ...with a clean install :( me? :D well thats the only way i found to fix it, a short fix seemed to work for a few days was to system restore until just before it buggered up then u gotta make sure you dont change background or theme or it will mess up reinstalling over windows didnt help either i had to format the drive and start fresh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Stinger Posted February 8, 2002 Share Posted February 8, 2002 I had the same problem. After I replaced the uxtheme.dll with the hacked one. Every theme did that. leqin Posted February 9, 2002 Share Posted February 9, 2002 Hasn't happened to me, but a mate at work had it happen on his brand new PC. He asked me what I thought and I was supposed to call round his house to take a look see. The day before I was due to call though he installed a trial copy of Windowblinds and played around with it, decided he didn't like it and de-installed it - for some reason that put things right.
