Id choose Halo on Xbox because i fing the grpahics are much better and the atmosphere is, I think, much better. Maybe I think that the graphics on pc are so bad cause I only played the demo

Xbox. The PC version feels terrible to me, controls (I know, it's weird) feel much better on the xbox controller...

Plus I don't like being spawn camped by a Banshee and having the driver constantly say "AHAHAHAHHA J00R G3TT1NG PWN3D N00B" (Not saying don't get the PC version because of this, but it's common online).

I was a very heavy player of Halo for Xbox, and still play on a regular basis, although it's not much fun killing everyone on xbox connect anymore, but from what I played (on the new Compaq X set up at CompUSA) it seemed very good, I played the first and second stage, and I thought was much easier to aim and get headshots with the mouse then with the controller, but that just may be the counterstrike part of my brain kicking in, unfortunatly they didn't have the computer hooked up on the internet so I couldn't try the multiplayer but I do think the inclusion of the banshee was foolish and see the gay spawn and tkers be a heavy nuisence because of easy and random joining and exiting servers.

Oh my gosh you people are so retarted that are saying the graphics are so much better on Xbox. You can greatly supass the graphics on the Xbox hence you have the a pretty good rig. You got so much better bump mapping and plus you can have really high resolutions that look so cool.

For those who say that the XBOX version is better, they are wrong. The only problem with the PC is that you have to be sure you own an excellent computer system (specially a awesome video card). Also, you have six new maps and 3 new weapons, plus the new banshee. What else do you want? Also, you have very good competition via multiplayer mode (but you have to be sure you have DSL or cable). If the XBOX version is cool, the PC one is better.

Just because your computer can't handle one game doesn't mean that the game is bad. Making the XBOX version they had only one system to work with and making a game for millions of different setup it though. Porting a game from one thing to another is always tough even more for some console to PC

Yeah, my 9700P and 3.5GHz Pentium 4 can't handle it.. ;)

About the new stuff, the maps are nice, the 3 new weapons aren't anything special, and the banshee is misused terribly.

xbox, because the pc version is easily one of the worst ports ever made, the game seems they just threw it together and thought people wouldn't notice it runs like crap, it's just stupid that i can run UT2k3 at 4x the frame rate and it's much prettier, and better physics

XBox for sure, because it was definitely designed with console gamers in mind.

You can imagine the developers sat around a table while making decisions about the game..

  • Leave enemies mentally retarded and just rush the player? Check!
  • Instead of redesigning the control system for the PC port, let's just remap the XBox controller buttons! Check!
  • Have the player walk through about a thousand seemingly identical locations, therefore saving on actual originality of level design? CHECK!

It's just lazyness really, isn't it.

I say on neither, it just goes to show what some sad people hoping for their new console to kick ass will do for fun. I mean it was horrid on PC I can't really get my head around how it was that much better on console, maybe in porting they forgot to port some of the fun???
