Andre S. Veteran Posted March 22, 2017 Veteran Share Posted March 22, 2017 I'm looking at buying a new cell phone that: - works on Telus LTE in Canada - works on most providers' LTE in Japan - budget: 150-200$ - takes good pictures - has decent performance characteristics (at least 2GB RAM, 8GB memory, not slow in daily usage) - used is ok This has proved quite a puzzle. It seems the canadian models of common phones like the LG G3 and G4 (ex.: LG G4 H812) do not support the required frequency bands for 4G/LTE Japan (going by http://willmyphonework.net/). I was suggested the OnePlus 3 or 3T but they are way above my budget. The Nexus 5 looks like it's an option, but I've had one before and disliked the camera. Going through reviews and checking all the characteristics is proving quite tedious, any good suggestions?
Andre S. Veteran Posted March 22, 2017 Author Veteran Share Posted March 22, 2017 The Nexus 5X looks like a good option so far. I could get one 200$ used. Any other options?
The Evil Overlord
Depends on what the band or frequency of the radio is I went with an Oukitel K10000 last year, not been unhappy with it, and there's an updated version due for launch this year. +Raze 1 Share
