Star Craft 2 ?

blizzard has multiple offices that work on multiple games at one time. this is partially apparant in (i think) diablo 2 where one of the intro screens is labeled Blizzard North. its obvious that one of their offices is working on WoW, but not all of blizzard is committed to it.

I'd assume that they're at the stage now that they need all the divisions to work together to make this game, as a MMORPG isnt an easy task. Other game concepts dont matter now, once they get WoW out, then they might start looking into it. I for one would rather them create a new concept instead of rehashing things (Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft).

you know what would be cool, if they would make a major update to original Starcraft, with high resolution graphics, and of course, new levels/story to play. It would sell, just imagine how many Starcraft Fans are out there...

And then, a year later, start developing Starcraft 2, big bucks. :)

I barely started playing this game about a year ago and i have to say im hooked id absolutley love to a sequel. Games that are this addicting are rare, and they should keep it going they know they'll make a killing why not keep there fans happy ?

They deny working on SC2, and they probably aren't.

Just wait a bit - 2-3 years after SC:Ghost comes out, SC2 will be under development (hopefully) :woot:

I think what's going to happen next is that Duran and his Zerg/Protoss hybrids is gonna KILL EVERY SINGLE THING (Zerg, Terran, Protoss) and they have to fight back somehow OMFGG!!!!!

hell no.. it's Protoss merged with Terran and Zerg with Terran = Infested Marines, SCVs, Ghosts, Vultures, Battlecruisers.. etc.

Just wanna say, that I've heard from a very realiable source that Blizzard have been working on SC2 for a long time and that it would be released ?-1 year after SC:Ghost. And the storyline in SC2 will continue from the end of the story in SC:Ghost.

I know that Blizzard is denying anything about SC2, but I would also do like that if you think of all the delays there have been on their latest games.

And another thing...if they ain't working with SC2 howcome you got SC units "avalaible" in WarCraft III ?

I think it's fake... some of those icons are from Warcraft III. I don't see blizzard using a medevil sword in a futuristic game

might be wrong though. they might be usiing the warcraft III engine and they just improving it. could be in alpha stage :p

its a mod of war craft 3 too look like sc1

OMG! If they do revisit the SC series no way in hell should they use the WC3 engine!!! There are some things from WC3 that might be nice carried over, but overall, the WC3 engine feels like a medieval engine (like it should) and would not feel very futuristic. For example, I think a higher vantage point is required. For things like battle cruisers, being 10 feet above a defence turret just doesn't cut it for me if they making it 3d (which is common sense). If the game looks anything like WC3 I will vommit and boycott it.

Think cut scenes from SC (or better yet, the opening movie from BW). That's what I want for a sequel.
