Nice efforts, but there's much more info available on so many websites (that you missed)

Too big in what way?

I have both an S7 and a Galaxy Nexus (the latter is my daily driver) - the S7 is longer, faster, and has a taller resolution than the GNex - however, it is no wider in my hand.  In fact, more and more Android phones (not phablets) are even wider than the S8 - and phablets are wider still - are you confusing phones and phablets?  Phablets are more popular than phones because you don't have to squint - I get that - however, there IS that Large and In Charge problem with phablets; I'm actually surprised that more phablets don't include headsets BECAUSE of that problem!  (I would not buy a phablet UNLESS it included a hands-free (preferably Bluetooth) headset - and that definitely applies to a Note - which are still the class acts of phablets today, despite the Note7 issues.)

Even though the S8 and S8+ have massive displays, their infinity display makes their screen to body ratio very impressive. They are small devices for their display size. You can use phonearena's size comparison tool. Ex: The S8+ has a 6.2" display, while my 6P has a 5.7" display. The S8+ is as tall as my 6P, but it's 4mm narrower, which makes it easier to hold and use. Linky
