hobsgrg
I have a bizzare problem with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: Century of flight and my microsoft sidewinder forcefeedback pro joystick. If i add my joystick to the game controllers list in game controllers the frame rate of the game which using keyboard runs at 35-40 fps runs at under 10fps if the joystick is used. Why on earth could this be? It's a microsoft game, microsoft joystick and microsoft joystick driver! By the way I am using kxaudio drivers and the joystick is connected via gameport on soundcard so maybe this is the problem???
Drebel
What type of system do you have? I'm using microsoft force feedback joystick on the USB port and no problems so far. Please keep in mind that FS2K4 is a CPU Hog.
Quboid
I don't get this problem either. Update drivers - joystick, soundcard and motherboard. If all else fails, try reinstalling FS2004.
