sys32
Okay I am in a huge rut here. I don't know if i feel right asking you guys for help, but I lost $350 last night in blackjack online and my bank account is withdrawn to that amount. Since I'm on a joint account with my mom, it's going to affect her mortgage payment as they will just use her account to compensate for the loss. If any of you guys want to help my <<removed>>. :( I am never gambling again and I mean that sincerely. Now I know how some people can get addicted. sys32
Go get a job and earn it back. I have a job, but with the fees the bank puts on overdrafts, there's no way I'll get it back in under 3 months.

giga Veteran Posted January 17, 2004 Veteran Share Posted January 17, 2004 She'll be mad for a while, and probably ground you. But that's what you get when you dont follow the rules. Nothing else to do but earn the money. Try doing double jobs (night) if you're that desperate.
BMac
Dude. I know you're upset but what the hell. Who do think you are asking the innocent people here for money. How do we know Chriskelly isn't right and this isn't a scam. You gambled you lost. Deal with it.
Argonaut
If with this you learn the lesson of not to gamble, consider yourself lucky. First encounters with gambling can be very dangerous, and addictive. The rule is as someone said, "the house always wins". And that is matematically true. THe odds of the games are in such a way that "in the long run" the house will ALLWAYS win. Some individuals might win temporarily, but the vast majoritiy loose. So, dont gamble, or if you do, only put on the table what you are willing to lose, and NEVER get caught on the slipery slope of "Ive just lost, next round I will recover". Chances are IT WONT HAPPEN. Remote
This deffinalty sounds like a scam... Its not, he posted a thread a few days ago about winning 100 bucks. He has too many posts to be a scam. He did lose the money, im sure of it. I dont know about the whole mom and morgage situation though. Anyway, he made a choice and will have to deal with the consequences
Blaise Veteran Posted January 17, 2004 Veteran Share Posted January 17, 2004 this is why I removed the links to the site you and others posted in your bragging thread. https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=132186 funny how a lot of people win a little at these sites then BAM! oopsy. You need to figure a different way to get the money back than panhandling here though..sorry closed
