DocM Posted June 30, 2017 Author Share Posted June 30, 2017 (edited) Survived re-entry and the landing! Before the video cutout did you notice the white foam to the left of the ASDS? That was the 3 engine plumes hitting the water just before the legs opened - it came in at a steep angle and at a lower than usual altitude due to the short burn. F9 did a huge Z-turn divert at the last second, a divert usually done more gradually much higher up, swerving all the way across the ASDS before (mostly) righting itself and landing at an angle - collapsing the crush cartridge on the leeward leg.
