Lil' question

I used to hate poetry, but it helps me vent my feelings in a slightly more healthy way. My poems tend to be very direct though with very little flowery imagery and more raw emotion, so they are not hard to understand. My writing doesn't express culture really, just what I feel. Alot of writers are the same way.

It was mostly what I used to vent out my feelings to people. It morphed into a vent of feelings about myself and slowly degrated me to a suicidal point. But, because I always seem to bounce back alot, I started going to where my roots were, love poems. I started writing about two girls and that was going good, until one of them dumped me. The other only liked me as a friend. So I started writing general love poems. After a while, I got tired again and started venting negative feelings. It was loneliness I was venting, so one summer I was determined to get a gf. I succeeded but never succeeded in keeping her, but wrote some of the best poetry of my life. Poetry is what I use to portray what I feel and how I interpret the world that is constantly alive and changing around me. I see things simple, yet they are complicated. I elaborate alot, but mostly whatever blows me away I really paint a picture. It's the simple view of a world of chaos.

Cheers
