I had to manually copy/paste from sheet to sheet today because I just had to get the job done but I know one or both of these could have helped.
I basically had a column on my "current sheet" that I wanted to drop sales data into from another sheet. My problem was, even after googling, I still came up with N/A etc.
How would I write either of the vlookup or index/match to do this:
Mind you the data / company list is not in the same order on these worksheets..
Find Company X's sales on sheet 2, column 5 (as an example), and bring in to sheet 1, column 13.
I want to reiterate they are sorted very differently and "sheet 2" contains company data not even listed on sheet 1.
I am am still learning and googling and asking co workers as I build into a new role they've been quite patient, I'm taking another step to ask here as well.
