Jelly2003
I was seraching and found this excelent tool for downloading and installing packages. Its called "Synaptic" and it make life so much easier. Not only does it help you find RPM files online, if the package has dependencies then it also downloads and installs the other required packages too! Links: Synaptic - Web Site Fedora RPM for Synaptic APT - Install this first before installing Synaptic Sorry if this is common knowledge, but for me this has really made life so much easier and I thought I'd share my discovery. Plarkster
Apt is great - it makes everything so much user friendly, and with Synaptic, Linux is so much easier to update. I always wanted a 'Windows Update' type program for all Linux packages. Apt and Synaptic is it!
