hair cut prices

i'm changing barber cause mine sucks ass...

Something for the weekend Sir? Now there's a service.

Its about six quid for a trim at my local. Its really worth it tho, she's a fit lass, stands infront of me and leans forward while she trims the front and she ALWAYS wears a skimpy top. Magic (Y)

Edit: Havent had it done for a while tho, my missus does it now and she does a bang up job. I really should get it cut, I'm looking like a bit of a hippy tree hugger atm.

I will not pay ?30+ at T&G (UK only I think)

Tony & Guy are quite good...I paid almost $100 CDN for a cut/style for my grad pics : Not worth it for a normal haircut though IMO

No, exactly. A lot of people in Swindon are going to T&G and getting the all-new 'cool' haircuts. Most of them look like they've been attacked by an epileptic barber in a nightclub.

It's ?6.50 where I live but I haven't been there since last Nov so I dare say it might have gone up since:((

No good looking women at my barbers though, just a father and son combo but they do a fantastic job... been going there since I was a kid, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else:))

( my girlfriend isn't too clever with the scissors so I don't let her touch my hair:DD )

yeah, Toni & Guy are great - you get loads of free coffee  and student discount on some days... but it's still like ?50 for cut & colour :

Heh, I pay $40 for a haircut (30.00 + 10.00 tip). My friends at work make fun of me for paying that much and ask what other kinds of *service* I get for that price. :p

I used to pay ?3.50 for a haircut

In the space of 4 years it has gone up to ?5.80

Its even more annoying because thats the only barber in town so he can charge what he likes

?5.80 is hardly extortionate though is it.

lol... Last time I went somewhere to get my hair "done" it cost $200! American bucks, that is... So I'm growing my hair out now... BananaMan likes it like that anyway. ;)

I'd say she's found a way to bring in repeat customers. I'd go there too if I was over there...

I got to the Hair-Cuttery; and I pay $12 plus $2 for the tip.

$14 for a haircut still seems a lot; but I just keep letting the hair grow more and more as years go on and on.

A tip? Thank god we dont have gratuities to that extent over here.

It would depend on how much of an eyeful I got I suppose in reference to my prev. post.

i'm changing barber cause mine sucks ass... and i was thinking of going to fantastic sams or supercut. how much do those places charge you for a regular haircut?

if you go to a hair salon school and let their trainees trim your hair, they may not charge you very much... at least, that's what my wife told me.

I shave my own head (1 mm short) so I don't pay a dime (and I don't pay for electricity either, rent inclusive). :D
