People across the world are gearing up for the Aug. 21 solar eclipse, but that date just won't work for one mother.

The Perot Museum in Dallas is hosting a solar eclipse party that day from noon to 2 p.m., during the hours the eclipse is set to happen.

"Most kids go back to school that day? Can it be done on the weekend?" asked one mom.

The prospect of moving the moon and the sun and causing the solar eclipse to happen on a different day was too good to not respond to. The Perot Museum's page soon filled with snarky comments, including more optimal times and dates when people will be free to view the event.

No word from the museum yet on if their staff is capable of rescheduling the event.
